Board members (directors) generally try to commit to 3 year service terms.

Directors can expect to help implement and execute the following projects:

• Chamber Membership Renewal Packets (Dec/Jan)
• Fall Festival Planning and Event Management (Apr-Sep)
• Wine & Brew (Oct/Nov)
• Visitor Center Occupancy / Rental (ongoing)

• The Chamber Board meets on the First Tuesday of each month.
• Unless otherwise posted, the meeting location is @ the Visitor Center ~ 6pm.
• Meetings are open to the public. 
• Any private or executive discussions will occur following the public meeting portion.

• 7 Director seats on the board.
• Officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary

Board seats open up regularly - some planned, some unplanned. If you enjoy event planning or just want to offer service in the community, Chamber is a great place to land. You'll meet all the movers & shakers, and with a humble, service-oriented existence, the Chamber Board stays at the forefront of North Franklin community involvement. 

There are currently no vacancies but terms are coming up 3rd quarter of 2026.

You don't have to be on the board to lend a hand.

All of the events and assignments have a functional committee overseeing the tasks at hand.

Fall Festival has the most need for help as it is the largest local single-day event. That committee starts meeting in April, usually once a month.
